Bugesera, October 16, 2024 — The Internet Society Rwanda Chapter (ISOC Rwanda) marked Global Encryption Day 2024 with an engaging event at G.S Nyirarukobwa in the Ntarama sector of Bugesera District.
The Internet Society Rwanda Chapter (ISOC Rwanda), in partnership with G.S Kibungo in Bugesera district, concluded a digital parenting and online safety training program on October 4, 2024. This initiative aimed to equip parents with essential mobile digital literacy and online safety skills to better protect their children from digital risks.
The Rwanda School on Internet Governance (RW-SIG) 2024 was hosted over two days, from the 3rd to the 4th of September 2024, in Kigali, Rwanda under theme ” Building a Multi-stakeholder digital future”.

Today, On 5th April 2024 at GS Butereri in Bugesera District, A five-days workshop on remote learning and online Safety was concluded. The workshop brought together teachers of the school at all levels to acquire knowledge on remote learning tools, privacy and Digital footprints.
From 6 -24 February 2024, Internet Society Rwanda joined the world to celebrate Safer Internet Day 2024 to raise awareness of the importance of both a safer and better Internet where everyone is empowered to use the Internet responsibly.
