Effective encryption is key to secure online communications for everything, from financial transactions to healthcare. It is a foundational component upon which a trustworthy Internet is built. 

As specific threats to encryption arise, we will work with local partners to mitigate them. Proactively, and working with members and partners, we will promote the implementation and use of end-to-end encryption.
